Overpriced, unfinished, and unsafe. Do not let the listing photos fool you. Positive: The location near Sylvan Beach is convenient. That is where the positives end. Negative: This property is an unfinished renovation being rented as a luxury unit. Exposed electrical cords run from a box fan mounted above the door frame down to the floor, creating a trip hazard in the bedroom. Paint is actively chipping and falling into the shower tub. The drywall next to the toilet has an unrepaired hole from a removed fixture with a screw anchor still jutting out. Window trim paint is cracking and peeling throughout. The entire unit is scuffed, unfinished, and unsafe. Guests are sleeping in a Murphy bed in the middle of the living room with no actual bedroom. This is not a luxury rental. It is an incomplete flip job being marketed dishonestly.

Very easy walking distance to beach and restaurants. Location directly on Rt 13 and sharing a parking lot with a bar/restaurant was rather loud. Apartment was lovely.

My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property.
